Take an art walk: You may have walked by this sculpture on 3rd and 55th Street and thought it’s a Calder; however, it’s in fact from Ann Gillen, an American sculptor who trained at Pratt and Columbia University's School of Fine Arts and is known for using color and different materials to create a sense of movement. You can also find Gillen's 30 other public and private art installations in places such as the Storm King Art Center and CUNY.
