One of the treasures of Sutton Place is Éclair Bakery, The cute French artisan patisserie where you can sample everything from raspberry tarts and matcha éclairs to gluten-free financiers and madeleines that you can imagine Proust enjoying while contemplating life. Since 2013 Stephane Pourrez, owner and head pastry chef, has been living his childhood dream of owning a French bakery. Educated at the world-renowned Ferrandi, the French School of Culinary Arts, as well as being trained by some of the best chefs in Paris, Stephane, and his friendly team lovingly handcraft all of the authentic and delicious French pastries daily in the open-air kitchen with locally sourced fresh ingredients. Matcha and hazelnut are only a few of the selections of éclair flavors that change seasonally.
